The recording of my live webinar Become a Project Management Minimalist for The Project Management Bookstore is now available online. I’m proud to say that this live event was sold out! (Over 1300 registered!) But you can still earn 1 PDU by simply viewing the session online -- and it's free!

There's No Such Thing as "My" Project

Recently I wrote a guest post for Luis Seabra Coelho's Ah-Ha-Moments.Net. This is a unique website devoted to collecting and sharing some of those "Ah-Ha!" moments of clarity and insight related to project management. It's funny what happened when I was invited to think deeply and then write about one of my most important "Ah-Ha-Moments." I started time-tripping and looking inward and the next thing I knew, I'd written a full-blown public confessional on some ways I really screwed up -- and, of course, what I learned in that painful Ah-Ha-Moment. I called mine "There's No Such Thing as 'My' Project."

Five Reasons You Should Publish Your Book, DVD, or CD Through Amazon’s CreateSpace

image: CreateSpace website

I am a very satisfied — in fact, enthusiastic — CreateSpace user. So far I have published three books, one DVD, and a bunch of audio CD/podcast tracks using CreateSpace. And not only has it been easy to bring these things to market, it has been (dare I say it?) a joyful, liberating experience. In this article, I explained my five reasons you should publish your creative work there as well. They include:

  1. Freedom to Create Anything You Want to Create
  2. Freedom to Collaborate … or Not.
  3. Freedom to Set Your Own Price
  4. Freedom to Sell It and Distribute It Your Way
  5. Freedom to Offer Discounts and Special Deals

How to Use Your E-Reader (iPad, Kindle, NOOK, etc.) to Sharpen Your Web Presentations

image: Webcast controls using an e-reader and a PDF

As a veteran presenter, I’ve learned that the best way to prevent stage fright and rambling is to rehearse and know your material cold. And it's a great help to have notes and reminders available for instant reference.

In this blog post, I provide step-by-step instructions on how you can use that e-reader (iPad, NOOK, Kindle, Sony Reader, etc.) as an annotated electronic "cheat sheet" to sharpen and polish your next web presentation. Read the full article here:

Michael Greer on Google Plus

It's only been a few months since I began using Google Plus and I'm impressed! So far, I really like the "circles" feature that allows me to easily create separate clusters of people I want to follow/share stuff with. Circles make the whole social network experience much more manageable. And I can see enormous potential for Hangouts (up to 10 people in a video chat!), Huddles (ad-hoc text meetings of mobile groups via smart phone), Sparks (custom auto-searches?) and even the layout and handling of Photos.

You can see my Google Plus public posts and connect with me via Google Plus at this URL:

Here are two good introductions to Google Plus:
